Established in 2002, T1DS is a small data management consulting firm based in Toronto, Canada.   Our initial focus was Disaster Recovery and Risk Management consulting services.  Helping clients to implement affordable, reliable and secure offsite backup solutions was not always an easy task.  Seeing this as an opportunity, we set up an infrastructure of our own and become one of Canada's first authorized IBM Managed Storage Service Providers.  Utilizing IBM's award winning software and enterprise class support, T1DS began to offer affordable, fully automated and secure hosted data management services.  In the last few years, these types of online services are commonly referred to as Cloud Services.  As bandwidth speeds increased while costs declined, T1DS took the opportunity to develop additional services as an authorized VMWare Hosting Provider.  This allowed us to expand our service offering with failover, hosting and email services.  Operating on our own private infrastructure located in Canada gaves T1DS the unique opportunity to offer a complete and customizable platform of hosted data management services.  In recent years, T1DS has partnered with various IT providers who now resell or incorporate these same services into thier own platform of offerings.
